Lost to the mists of time...carelessly junked by the BBC without any thought to the future of TV...the lost episodes of Doctor Who are the stuff of legend!
As of 2025, less than 100 episodes are still lost but they turn up from time to time - discovered in sheds in obscure parts of the world and some are rumoured to exist, held onto be selfish fans who wont share them with the world!
Fortunately, the BBC have worked to create animated reconstructions of the stories that exist via audio recordings and tellysnaps (photos of the episodes during transmission) so as to bring us the next best thing to actually discovering the lost episode!
In this podcast episode, we take a look at the animations and discuss them and the legends of the lost episodes...
