Cory went to Germany, came back, and bought way too many new fish. So let's do a tour of the entire fish room, check out all the new inhabitants, and see how much the plants have grown in since the fish room makeover series. Also, stay till the end to see what it looks like to feed a cupful of fish flakes to the 800-gallon aquarium!

Don't reduce the light in fight with the algae... put some floating plants and will help with nitrite reduction and also with light reduction.
Xenotoca doadrioi. I have a tank of them and a tank of Bettas and it's hard to decide which is my favorite. Gotta conserve goodieds, man
Can you do a video about the red belted goby (sicyopus zosterophorus) i have searched and searched and searched. There is pretty much 0 info on these. I get them for free along with neon gobys in the same spot in a river near my house. Pls it would be a huge huge help. Thanks
RIP Murphy. I was lucky enough to see him at the store a few years ago.
I just started the video! Did Murphy die? Thats so sad! My kiddos loved it when I pulled up his live cam. One of them wears a hat with him on it a lot.
He went to join his fathers in Clamhalla on the 29th of January.@@thomasb4467
“I need more poop” is a great way to start the tone for the video, well done lad!
RIP to Murphy, his legend will live forever. Congrats on the million, you helped get me back into aquariums a few years ago.
Rest in peace sweet Murphy. With one crunch he brought joy to me during a very depressing and heartbreaking trip to Seattle a few years ago.
Thank you Cory for allowing us who aren’t local to get too know Murphy and see just how amazing he was.
Before him I never knew how intelligent they are and how wonderful Mbu’s can be as pets. It brought me a lot of joy and entertainment over the years getting to know Murphy. Ill miss popping into the murphy cams from time to time just too see how he’s doing.
Rip Murphy and thank you for everything.
“1 Million for Murphy” ❤RIP Murphy❤️
RIP Murphy, I’m glad I got to see him in person a few times! 💚
Wow. The 800g aquarium is the best it’s ever been! It looks great with the plant growth, Universal Rock’s decorations, and the eclectic fish community.
This is just the fun time in the hobby. I enjoy nearly every aspect of fish keeping, but it's nice to feed a good amount of fish and just sit back to watch their little kingdom. Shapes, colors, behaviors....that's the fun stuff!
"Quit eating your brother." Funny & sad at the same time :) :(
Siblings.... lol
Loving the vibe of this, a lot like Cory wandering around his old room being positive, love it, set me up for my half term break for sure!
My condolences on Murphy, and more recently, Ladybird's passing. Pets are Family that we choose.
I know it has changed significantly in the last 9 or 10 months since this video was released but this is the one of the most appealing fish rooms I have seen. Not only is it open, beautifully laid out, and aesthetically pleasing, everything is at eye level which would make observing fish behavior a relaxing and enjoyable escapist activity. The kind of environment you never want to leave.
Hearing Cory randomly talk to fish is very stress relieving when you're in such high stress environments as trying to eradicate the dang duckweed that came in on a plant and Took. Over. Everything!!!😅
RIP Murphy😢. I spent time with him last summer when I got to visit the store. Was hoping to show my kids to him this summer on our road trip. He is a legend in his own right. 🐡
I’ve had fantastic results with plants by doing organic potting soil base capped with play sand and gravel on top. Plants thriving, fish happy and breeding. Had to trim the plants twice in just over a month after setup
OMG RIP Murphy ❤❤❤❤❤. I will always miss him. I love the channel, live bearers, Cory,Dean , and the huge puffer fish i couldn't own i live my best fish life through you tube. You will be greatly missed and i send prayer for your family and human admirers.
Congratulations on reaching 1 million! It's well deserved.
Your tanks are looking good. My favorite tank is the 800 gallon. I enjoy seeing all those trout goodeids. Plus Lady Bird is a beauty.
RIP Murphy. I'm so happy I was able to visit him while he was in his prime. He gave people so much joy and he will be missed.
Cant think think of a better way to start my day. Thanks for the vid!!!! A moment of silence for our fallen hero....😢
Another amazing video nothing better than Cory with a camera in the fish room!!!
I need those blue Mickey Mouse Platys omg. Also RIP big boy Murphy ❤
Sorry to hear about Murphy.
Condolences for the loss of Murphy. He was a truly iconic fish and had a great life with you. He will be remembered with smiles by so many. ❤🩹
So sorry to hear about Murphy! Grateful to have visited him while I was in WA!
Sorry to hear about Murphy. That's sad news
I’m sorry to hear of Murphy’s loss. You gave him a great life!
Awesome Fish Room Tour! Your tanks look really great! I can watch you play with your tanks all day! Awesome Stuff!
By far the best type of content you put out! Although I'm really sorry to hear that Murphy passed away..
Congratulations Cory! Love to see what's going on in the fish room. And I'm so sorry about Murphy--that's a tough one.
Damn the female guppies (@7:12) are insane! 😮😮
We captured ornamental fish in Brazil, congratulations on the video
I love all your videos, I feel like you have literally the most open mind ever. Even this is a great example - paleollama is never commonly advertised like alot of other prehistoric mammals. So cool
Oh and I absolutely love that did a meet with Nick. You all are my absolutely favorite ppl in the hobby
THAT'S Lady Bird! So beautiful!
A lovely video. Thank you Cory. Loved seeing all those babies.
RIP Murphy. Thank you for sharing your fish room. Take care.
Absolutely right on the amount of food!!! I do the same, just means a five day water change schedule instead of a seven!
*You have a nice fishroom there Cory!*
my approach and taste with fish keeping is usually pretty different then cory's but i couldnt agree more with the needing more poop/poop layer is the best thing for your tank, that natural mulm is so beneficial to all the life in your tank, bacteria plants and animals love it and thrive in it, i did a water test on all 6 of my tanks tonight for the first time in 6ish weeks and the only tank that isnt where its at is the newest tank that just hasnt built up that poop layer yet from being lightly stocked for the first 5 months its been running
17:49 I think they are the doadrioi, the eiseni are a different species. They are from different places in mexico. While very similar they are different in size and deepness of color
Love your weekly uploads Cory!
Sorry to hear about Murphy ! From you showcasing that beautiful animal got me to love puffers. Thank you Cory😁👍
These tank tours were always my favorites of yours. What happened to the other areas of your house that had tanks? The warehouse, is it gone? All those tanks. Do you just have them at your business now?
I'm not sure when you watched last. We have a retail store, a warehouse for shipping, this building is for my fish room. No aquariums currently in my house since I moved a few years ago.
Really enjoyed this type of video, it was educational and fun to watch!! I loved all the tanks and seeing the different setups.
8:15 algae pearling is insane
Wow amazing. Thanks for your contribution to the craft my king.👑👑
Really appreciated this one Cory! Thanks for sharing. 800 gallon is sweet!
RIP Murphy! So lucky I got to see him back in August
A huge congrats on the million 🎉 An average of 100,000 per year for 10 yrs ain't bad buddy 😉
RIP Muphy 😢 but congratulations on hitting the 1,000,000 sub mark! I'm right behind ypu at 400 subs! 😂
I walk into my room and all I hear is Cory saying, "I need more poop! That is what I need!". 😅
i’d really love to see your Aquarium CoOp equipment and merch in Europe!
I am so happy for you and your company! May God continue to Bless you and your company with success and influence!
In no way did you cause what happened to Murphy. Murphy had the best life any pet could ask for, and that is because of you, Cory! And always remember, those tears of sadness when a loved one or even a pet passes away are the memories of joy and happiness he brought you (and us) that come flooding back into your memory in a single moment. RIP Murphy 🙏
Lusistic I believe is the word you were looking for when taking about the white black Moscows :)
Totally, sometimes brain fog sets in while filming.
@@AquariumCoop happens to us all my friend!
Love you feeding the big tank
What a great video. I live the live bearers. Can’t wait to see those African tetras grow out. I love large tanks with small fish. Currently have a 180 with 35 red glass barbs.
That beard is what's growing in. Looking good man. ✌️
I think growing anubias floating is the absolute easiest way to propagate and grow it.
The fish in the 800 gal are amazing!
I’m loving the flow of video lately ❤
Hello aquarium co op. I just want to say that I am grateful for your work and your videos. I am incredibly fascinated by your knowledge. Dean is absolutely amazing ❤️ I'm a total beginner but I'm totally in love with this hobby. Have previously grown mushrooms and there are some similarities. But I am absolutely fascinated by your accumulated knowledge that must have taken years to build up. Love your passion for the hobby. I have decided to train as an Aquaponic Engineer and will try to do a similar journey as you have done. I'm almost 40 years old, I hope I'm not too old? :) Kind regards from Sweden
Lady bird is so beautiful!
Congratulations on 1 million subscribers!!! That is amazing!!! 🎉
Congrats on the 1 million! Well deserved
thanks for the tour, very entertaining and relaxing to watch on a sunday afternoon.
I absolutely love those horseface loaches! I need to get some of those some day! Added to the bucket list.
Loved the tour cory, your fishroom is amazing!⭐️
Your tanks are amazing!! So inspiring!
I really enjoyed seeing the Ladybird tank!
That food quality was wild. I gave an extra pitch for my PM feed.
Congratulations on hitting a million!!!
I`m loving these long vids! Congrats on the 1mill!!
I need a quick air pump so I bought the smallest one at petsmart, the same as you show I'm this video. I eventually got the dual aquarium co-op battery airpump so I could run a sponge in a different tank as well. I haven't noticed the sound as much as I did before with the other pump. Plus, if my power goes out everything keeps going. Love your products.
So sorry to hear about Murphy, he was pretty cool.
So sorry about Murphy. My son and I always looked forward to seeing him when we go went to the store.
Love seeing all of your fish from Dan are doing great!
Congrats on 1M subs!! You deserve all of it, you are an amazing person!
Super excited to see some goldfish! Fancy or common, I love both!
it is amazing looking how much food goes in that 800, but sometimes i shake my head at my 120 community tank when i feed a fine flake food, as it looks like an insane amount as its floating around.
The real noise test with air pumps is when you take the filter out the bottom of it ! Lol
I agree, my tanks that are just run with sponge filters always get tons of pearling in the evening. I guess its cause it takes a couple hours for the co2 to build up?? I'm not too sure but it works. My stems literally look like they got infected by bubbles and if I touch them it makes the tank look like its full of sparkling water!
The stars are in your ways.
RIP Murphy 😢 good memories with him at the store
Damn, RIP Murphy. Sorry for your loss 😥
LOVE the beard on ya big guy!!! As for breeding platy, I found you need at least an area of the tank to have full top to bottom plant coverage for fry survival. The newborn fry have a weird habit of racing from their normally low hiding spaces to the very top for a quick sip of air, it appears, and right back down. This happens and triggers any adult fish to feed on them. Hiding spots will save a few fry, but dense coverage is necessary for higher survival rates. Probably the worst offenders of the livebearers I have seen, but it all stems back to that habit of the fry.
I can hardly wait to come visit you.
I really liked the feeding at the end😀
I love these styles of videos
The tetra whisper air pumps get much louder after about six months to a year.. Honestly like 50% louder.
16:33 how long does it approximately take for an aquarium to start building that poop ground layer?
Would vary by stocking.
RIP Murphy and Lady Bird 🐦❤
Heckkkkin awesome!! Thank you!
I'd love to get more information on running sponge filters on your 120 gallon tanks. Do they provide adequate flow? Given that large of a tank are there any dead spots? Any keys to success for running those on a larger tank? Thanks!
OMG Murphy’s gone?!?!!! 😢 So sorry to hear!! 😢
Thank you, great video. Always learn a lot!
Loved the tour, i got 7 blueberry babys shipped from you know who, but box got lost for 4 days in the cold weather so only one baby made it, so now i have a heated tank for one baby snail but i love them so next time i have extra money i will order if weather is better
Dude congrats on the 1mil!
I inject CO2, but added an airstone on to start when the CO2 turns off, and my plants do great. They are better than when I don't run the airstone. I only have a single tank, so I don't have research to back my anecdotal findings, but over the last 5 years that I have done planted tanks, they do better with airstones, on either high-tech or low-tech tanks. Running an airstone does help with increasing gas in the water, and since we live in an environ that has CO2 naturally, it must elevate at least a little bit.
I'm reading the opposite, you lose co2 which you get from animal waste and decomposing material to the atmosphere by surface agitation..
@@n4b40 those are true also, but I feel a small airstone isn't stirring up the whole tank, you are still going to have anaerobic processes in the substrate, which will produce CO2 and nitrates, but most of the time you don't want to stir up your anaerobic areas because of releasing hydrogen sulfides and other potentially bad products, but that also varies on type of substrate and how much anaerobic process is being encouraged. Fish need gas exchange and most filtration causes surface agitation. Again, I only run it during the dark periods of my tank, but when I did my low-tech tank I ran it all the time, specifically for surface agitation.
My favorite in Cory's fishroom: ALL the livebearers and corydoras (cories are my "if I could only keep one type of fish what would it be?" pick)! P.S. I will "like" the beard only if Katie does ;)
Thanks for the update!
