EU court has allowed Google to remove irrelevant facts. Why Wikipedia in India is persisting in retaining lies, false claims and distorted facts. The sources quoted by the editors are their own community men who produced such false claims and imaginary tales to make them appear as true history. Please don't spoil the fair name of Wikipedia by retaining the distorted version. If Wikipedia (India) does not follow the rules, I may have to report to higher authorities.

Hello, materialscientist. I have edited only glaring false claims. Wikipedia should have sked for sources when a contributor has stated that St. Thomas converted Jews. Malankara Christians were local converts. But Wikipedia is used as a media by them to claim they were Jewish Christians. Please delete such flagrant lies. If you permit, I can refer the matter to Wikipedia headquarters in America.

Hello, Rajanranjan, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not yet been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

Hello I have edited the passages where original sources are not given. Wikipedia is being used by some to fabricate lies to claim Jewish and Nambbothiri status. Missionary records say that they were converted from lower castes. But here in Wikipedia, it is shown that they are descendants of Jews. Since original source is not given, it is to be corrected or deleted. How can Wikipedia publish their view that Malankara Christians are descendants of diaspora Jews converted by St. Thomas? In the Bible, it is clearly shown in Ezekiel that the prophet Ezekiel lived in exile in Babylon during the period before and after the fall of Jerusalem in 586 B.C. His message was addressed both to the exiles in Babylon and to the people of Jerusalem. So it is authoritatively stated that the Jews went as exiles to Babylon, and not to Kodungalloor (Cranganore), in Kerala. When Wikipedia publishes an event, it will be accepted by people worldwide as a true statement. So it is to be corrected by editing it. I request you to delete such portions from Wikipedia. I may have to contact Wikipedia hqrs in America.

Please read WP:NOR and WP:NPOV. We cannot make statements using words such as "baseless" (although we could sometimes quote a reliable source saying that). I note that we use Jussay as a source for "Many of the Jews who converted to Christianity at that time were absorbed by what became the Nasrani or Saint Thomas Christians". When you reply to an editor please post under their post and sign with 4 tildes, eg ~~~~ Dougweller (talk) 06:15, 6 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Jussay is not an authority. He is also a local Christian and there is every probability that he, like other Syrian Christians, would have attempted to have Jewish ancestry by finding similarities in Jewish songs.

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Dougweller (talk) 20:52, 3 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Cochin Jews, you may be blocked from editing. Dougweller (talk) 20:53, 3 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Hello Rajanranjan, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your addition to Cochin Jews has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied without attribution. If you want to copy from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dougweller (talk) 06:53, 5 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
